Art is a form of expression without everyone needing to know the meaning of it but behind every piece of art there is always a story.

Hello Emily, where are you based right now? Is there any place you would like to live in the future?
I am based now in New York, however after being in Europe I must say that I definitely want to either live in Paris, Barcelona, or Milan.

Nice, so you travel a lot?
Yes I do, especially when I was in Europe because of how easy it was.

When you’re not modeling, what do you do?
I am a student, studying fashion merchandising and a working girl. I lived in New York last summer and I worked 3 jobs and did modeling as well as started to work on doing styling.

I’m sure that your studies give you a lot of inspiration, that’s a great association…
Yes

What is the most challenging part about working as a model?
I would say reliability. I am always reliable when I model and I take it seriously, however in the modeling industry I have been promised to do a certain gig and then, at the last minute it is cancelled, or someone from the team doesn’t show up. Now, I know I am not a big model yet, however I believe with whatever level of model you are it should always be taken seriously, because it is a job and when you go to a job you don’t just not show up or be late or cancel at the last minute because that would result in getting fired.

What does art mean for you?
Art is a form of expression without everyone needing to know the meaning of it but behind every piece of art there is always a story.

What influences your work? Your studies maybe?
I would definitely say I’m influenced by my studies because I always push myself to do everything and always try new things because I think that is the best way to learn.

Your favourite movie?
Across the universe.

Do you have any favourite models?
Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr.

Is there anything else we need to know?
Just that I am a very determined girl and that I am ready to work more.
