Listen to your gut and let it guide you, don’t question what you know you know, and NEVER STOP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE because that is why you’re here.

Hello, What do you enjoy about working with people?
I love their uniqueness and their fluidity

Your favorite place to shoot?
In the sunshine, or at least very near it! I love a bit of contrast and a good shadow or two is enough to get me internally squealing with joy

How do you select your models?
I choose faces that excite me – it’s as simple as that!
If i’m working to a brief and have to compromise on the model, my initial reaction is to change the brief. But I recognise that not all faces fit all bills, and I do quite enjoy the challenge of working with people I might not otherwise have chosen to shoot

Black and white or color?
Black and white, though I’ve been getting more into colour recently, which has genuinely taken me by surprise

What’s the best thing about your photography style?
I’m drawn to images that contain an element of truthfulness. My favourite photos are ones that project a feeling of honesty, even if it’s just a hint of the stuff, and that’s something I strive to achieve in my own work, more and more so

How would you describe your current life?
Introverted, but incredibly satisfying;)

Is there anyone you´d love to shoot?
There are so many people I’d love to shoot. My inspirations change every day, but I’m always looking for people with something a little bit special in their eyes

Good advice for photographers out there?
Not just for photographers, but for any artist or creative person – always follow your heart and don’t be afraid to experiment. Ask (nicely) for what you want, and always, ALWAYS honour your agreements.
In my experience, creative people tend to have a strong connection with their emotions and know instinctively when something ‘feels’ right or wrong – listen to your gut and let it guide you, don’t question what you know you know, and NEVER STOP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE because that is why you’re here.
