I would say my wildest dream is to travel the world and meet new people and give back to the community.

When did you decide to become a photographer?
January of last year! I picked it up as a hobby in 2012 because all of my friends were film majors. Eventually, I realized that it felt pretty natural to me and just ran with it.

When you’re not photographing?, what do you do?
I like to read. A lot. I have piles of books lying around my room—mostly because I need to donate them. My newest obsession is Monocle magazine. If I’m not reading, you can usually find me eating or listening to music.

Do you have any favorite models/ photographers?
My favorite model would probably be Amelia Zadro. She’s got this super interesting look that I never get tired of. My favorite photographers would have to be Melanie Tjoeng, Jeremy Snell, Julia Trotti, and Edward Burtynsky.

Your wildest dream?
This one is tough. I would say my wildest dream is to travel the world and meet new people and give back to the community. I’d love to, eventually, shift my focus to humanitarian work/ photography. Helping people through photography is my ultimate goal.

What influences your work?
So many things influence my work. From my personality, to my surroundings, and even my mood—it all affects the work I produce.

Favorite sport?
I love hockey. It’s the only sport I played competitively so I’m pretty biased.

Any exciting projects on the horizon?
I’m moving to Los Angeles in a few months, so that’s a new adventure itself!
